Jordan it was delicious! Tim, most saugers run small (10-15"). A big one is anything 17" to around 21-22". They generally seem to prefer dirtier waters ...more like the Mississippi and the Lake Winnebago system.

There all trophies when they are mixed with butter and onions!

Nice sauger! I've never caught one of those. I'm not sure why we don't have them around here. How big to they tend to run? What would you call a trophy ...more sauger?

  9. Caught a TON of pike on just about everything I threw! The hottest bait was the echotail, cast out, gently ripped, then left to fall and lay on the bottom for a ...more second or so. The fish actually picked the lure up off the bottom!

5 lb. 36 in. Northern Pike with a Vibrations Tackle Echotail/Rapala Husky Jerks/Curly Tail Grubs on Jigs

The common great white toothy... Mean muggin us!
