  6. 20" LM from today. Caught around 15 LM in 4.5 hours of fishing. Had two more around 17", but most were 12-15"

Had to fish very slow to get bites, ...more both in shallow and deep water. Started too fast...was doing some quick flips around visible cover with a Texas rig, but didn't get bit. Warden stopped by for a chat/check as part of Operation Dry Water. Ended up talking for about 10 minutes (I hadn't seen him in awhile).

After he drove off, slowed down a bit, caught a fish right away, and then I switched my approach. Was doing a 15 count to get bit skipping around the docks and almost a 30 count on suspended fish out deep. Caught fish in 20 inches of water and out of 27 FOW.

Tubes/wacky in tight, flapper grubs out deep. Caught a pair of smaller fish on a soft jerkbait, by, but not under, the docks while dialing in the pattern. Lots of panfish actually laying eggs while I was out.

    Cheers,
    CT

  7. Caught on SW bay under a pontoon boat

3 lb. 6 oz. 19 in. Largemouth Bass with a purple senko

  8. Seemed to be hunting bluegills on the beds and was a reaction strike when the bait when past its mouth.

2 lb. 9 oz. 20 in. Largemouth Bass with a Baby Bass Super Fluke

  9. Been out on Moose three times for short runs in the last week.

    Day 1 : 2.5 Hours, Early Afternoon 2 Small Pike, 17 LM 12-18"

Day 2: 3.5 Hours, Morning, ...more 16 LM (Plus a bunch of Rockbass) LM ranged from 10-19", but about half were legal

    Day 3 (Yesterday): 3 Hours, Mid Morning...2 Pike, 20 LM 12-16"

Plastics, fished tight to weeds. Just a handful came off the docks. Most of the fish are roaming the deep flats and shelves.

Still some bluegills up on nests, but lots starting to suspend over open water.

    Water is sub 70 degrees.
