a really nice catch for my grandson
The section near the dam is deep, and very open. This lake gets very active on windy days and if its blowing this is not the place to be. There is tons of shallow weedy areas for bass.
There are 85 campsites here and a boat launch. You can fish for Northern Pilke and your catching chances are good. Largemouth bass are also present in good numbers. 8 MPH speed limit enforced.
There is a boat launch under the buttsbridge bridge. The ramp is free so dont pay to launch anywhere else. Fish the upper section of the pond, north of the bridge.
