    Went to the bee supply store, so had to try my luck along nearby river. Tough fishing after cold front came through. Lots of nippers, but only a few solid bites. ...more Got this on a brown tadpole on a 1/16 oz jig head. Pulled off several deer ticks, too.

    River low & clear. Thought I'd try clear baits again since they've done so well lately.....and did well today, too. Got about ten redbreast in sheltered ...more areas near shore. Fished on 1/16 oz jig head.

    Details: Rock Bass

    Picking up a package of bees put me near a river, so couldn't resist a quick excursion along the bank. Got a couple of nice rock bass, some decent redbreast ...more & a couple of little smallies. Tadpole rigged on a 1/16 oz Arkie turbo jig head. Very rewarding trip.

      I've gotten them in the mail before. They come in a screened box about the size of a small shoebox. Basically, you open the box & dump them in the hive. ...more They're in their new home right now. @DMyeWNY
