The largest muskie of the year are taken in late fall along steep sand/gravel dropoffs. Walleye lay adjacent to weeds most of the time. Nice size perch, Crappie and Bluegill.

      got a chance to get up there last week, over labor day weekend, found all the spots you mentioned and marked em the depth finder,was on the lake sat for a couple ...more hrs and it was cold and rained,, sunday was blue skys and warmer,, managed to cast awhile,, had a bass hit a bucktail,, how far you think the weeds will recede by mid oct.. ?

      use jerkbaits gliders and rubber while dragging a sucker...let me know if you need any jerkbaits...i make a killer dive and rise softail jerkbait that is deadly ...more when nothing else seems to work....find me on facebook...river rat lure company

      fish around the main weed bar in the middle of the lake and the far western end of the lake is also good.....theres also a point that jutts out on the north west ...more side of the lake and has good access to deep water...they are all worth a shot...fish remaining green weeds and sharp breaks
