There are not a lot of muskie available here, but the ones you'll find are big. On the north end of Upper Post are 2 miles of navigable water through the mouth of the Wolf River. This water holds bass, pike, panfish and muskie.

    Went fishing here on 5/17/14. We caught a lot of largemouth bass on lower post lake. They were spawning in protected bays. We caught them with rattle traps. Biggest ...more one being 20" and 4.8 pounds.
