Fly fishing; casting to where we saw minnows jumping at the edge of the lily pads; waded in past our knees to get away from trees overhead.
I'm trying to find a spot that was popular for cane pole fishing on Lake Hiawatha (Minneapolis) from years ago (in the late 40s or early 50s). My mom is celebrating ...more her 80th birthday and we're bringing her down memory lane. Any old timers out there who used to fish Lake Hiawatha? I thought there was a bridge that was a popular spot. Any help is appreciated! I can't remember if it was Lake Hiawatha or Nokomis. I've posted for both lakes. Thanks!
