1. Spin Cast: waded in to ~4' and cast out beyond the water lilies. The bobber was ~4' from the lure to keep it from catching bottom/weeds.

1 lb. 8 oz. 14 in. Largemouth Bass with a 4" crawfish (black) "Powerbait"

Julie, you say you waded in, so you were coming from the north side of the lake by the park pavilion or on the other side by the delta sandbar where the creek flows ...more out into the Lake? I’m only asking because the lake map shows 2 spots, one of which is smack dab in the middle of the lake..
  2. River flooding let us get up into the narrow inlets. I spin cast a zoom lizard (watermelon) and was reeling in fast over a deep spot.

5 lb. 18 in. Walleye with a 6" zoom lizard

  3. Fly fishing; casting to where we saw minnows jumping at the edge of the lily pads; waded in past our knees to get away from trees overhead.

4 oz. 5 in. Bluegill Sunfish with a Fly Fishing Floating Spider - Black
