Another pouring rain trip. Loved the markings.
Abundant smallmouth over 3 pounds. Striped bass and hybrid stripers have become the most popular gamefish. Walleye over 12 pounds occasionally turn up. Decent sizes for Brown Trout and panfish. 5,700 acres
Broke through couple hundred feet of ice to get boat to open water (distance not thickness ๐คฃ). Only one smallmouth, 2 walleye, crappie, and some beefy perch.
Iโm back, fell off for awhile kicking back into gear for fall smallmouth bass fishing.
Had another crappy Crappie trip. Zero Crappie but caught some nice 3-5 pound bass. 2โ Keitechs. Ice around edge of lake.
Snow flurries as we launched this morning. ๐ฅถ We caught some nice solid bass no monsters. Forgot my gloves, couldnโt find my scarf, was ready for the cold. Did charge ...more up my electric socks!
11 bass and 3 perch in first hour. Rain storm hit weather changed every 30 minutes. Trip went downhill only caught 5 more bass. Lost three bigger bass.
3 bass off my dock before leaving in boat. Solid topwater action on different surface lures. Biggest bass was 19โ but skinny. Funny because shorter bass were all ...more fat.
Skinny Dipping bass! Got to lake boardwalk connecting my set of docks had floated away. Had a towel in truck so went buck naked to reach dock. Short 2 hour trip ...more after multiple delays but caught: perch on 2nd cast, 2 lb largemouth on 3rd cast, 1 rock bass, 1 pickerel, and 12 smallmouth. Sunset bass pictured.
