    Fish just don't like me here. Last time was way to hot. Now it's way to windy and chilly. Do people actually have any luck at cross creek????

      Jim, hope to have better luck next time. It gets so cold by the lake and we Didn't come to prepared for the chill. I should've known better.

      nah, you don't have to wait till spring/summer. In fact, fall can net you your personal best. They are gonna feed up for the winter. Just gotta know how to read ...more the weather and be on the water at the right time.

      I would say it's the cold temps !! I don't think they stock trout there! Bass are slowing down!

      I know 2 visits ago, I caught 1 Bluegill. Last time, it was El Skunko. With the cold snap, today, I'm thinking the fish got lockjaw, so don't fret. This ...more time of year, try fishing any coves or bays you have access to. They'll be following baitfish, and baitfish SHOULD be moving back into the shallowest parts of bays, soon, if not already. Hang in there.
