Went carping in the 54 degree Millstone River on the south shore in West Windsor, NJ, this evening on a cold, sunny day with a northwest wind small craft advisory. Threw out a can of corn for chum, then caught nothing while ultralight jigging. Twin 4 lb common carp hit both of my carp rods simultaneously. The two lines tangled but I landed both fish 🎣. That was the only action of the day. Nick the college student said that he caught 74 striped bass in the surf from Sandy Hook to Monmouth Beach recently.
