Attention TX bass anglers: the spawn is near! Bass are at their heaviest weights of the year right now! With the warm weather we're forecasted to get, look for a big push of males coming up shallow in the afternoon to make beds. The females won't be far behind, but they'll hang out nearby at the staging areas, like dropoffs close to the beds.

      my go to bait is the weightless power worm black/brown with the chartreuse twirl end or a trick worm

      They're already starting to spawn over here in NOLA. They just happened to pull off with a recent cold front.

      gets the bass to go after the rage craw next time I put it in its face!

      texas rigged rage craw is my go to bait for bedding fish, but for the ones that are lucky I use a cranbait,spinner, or swimbait and run it through the area the fish ...more is a few times and that usually -->

      @aus_10 Just meant to make extra care to release them as quick as possible and not to stress them out so they can get back and do their thing 👍

      Have you seen people being irresponsible bed fishing? I'd just like to know what you mean other than normal care for greenbacks but my favorite is going to be ...more a t-rigged critter or jig!
