probably my second biggest shark I have ever caught today, fishing in the surf off Fort Story. Soaking a large roundhead chunk about 100 yards off the beach with a great cast. I turned around and saw my pole doubled over and drag screaming. Didn't fight great, thought it was a smaller eat until I beached it and was so excited. Had only my sister with me and she wasn't much help in the whole

      92 air temp, water temp in high 70s, 1-3 foot swells, water cloudy, low to incoming tide, had to leave at high tide as current got to rough, mostly clear skies, ...more I love having the beach to myself

      so we are guessing somewhere around 4' and 40lbs, was a thick and very heavy shark, just wish I could have gotten a better fight, no complaints though, released ...more unharmed.

      before I was going to measure her and tag her she decided it was time to go and she kicked of strongly with no one stopping her. Didn't get a measurement but ...more she was as big as my 4' 8 year old sister

      process except a photographer. The hook was in the corner of the mouth perfectly although I couldn't get it out for a while. My top priority was keeping it alive ...more so I kept it in the water and right
