Got this one at the beginning of the month in the North levee canal on Pleasure Island. wind was out of the north at 5mph, very calm and glassy. Water temp was about 78 degrees. slow retrieve dragging the bottom, no jigging what so ever. this one was right at 18in.

      Haven't really fished Sabine are though. Fished that pier with gazebo at Pleasure Island (?) and that park with white fence

      @Reel_Smooth...lol. I see. I've ventured all over to find spots. Sargent, Palacios, Bolivar, TCD, CC, Port A, Rockport, Sabine, of course Galveston and Freeport ...more the usual spots, etc

      it's actually been real good this year. Ive been fishing mostly in the ship channel on Pleasure Island side across from Keith lake cut bridge@fishinggal

      Nice! We've been hitting all ours on gulp with a 1/4oz jig head. Flounder we've been dragging on bottom, and trout with medium retrieve.
