DAY 5: It was the final day of our Minnesota fishing trip for me. And I went there with 1 goal. To catch my first muskie. It was about 8am when we spotted this big girl cruising in the shallows. I started with using a spinnerbait but it didn't seem interested so I quickly swapped to a small crankbait. All I had to do was bump her and she swung back around and snatched it like candy. 42"

      A small 3in crankbait. When I was there for the week I noticed everyone there was use giant lures and having no luck. So I decided to go small. And it worked out ...more amazingly!!! @jsperry

      Haha when my cousin caught his 45" Muskie on one of my custom chatterbaits, he just horsed it in on 12# fluorocarbon.

      Oh yeah it was quite the rush. I hooked her and we just followed her with a trolling motor til she gave up enough to net her. @jstruve @CalvinFease
