Very nice bass on the frog! Worked it over a hole In the weeds when there was a huge splash, gave it a second and set the hook. Fish 1 of 5 all were on frogs! Sunny with 5 MPH winds and temps in the low 80's. Dark, stained shallow water and heavy weeds. Was hoping for a bowfin so I could get species #47 but had a hit from one and had another on that was pretty big but due to my drag it got off.

Don't worry, I won't that would be cheap. But in theory it would work right? lol. @MulletHead @AllWaterLife

Don't just spam posts. The whole point of that is to build the FS community by having people socialize a little more. Be friendly, you might make some friends ...more who know some things.

I noticed on the FS website it talks about stars on your profile, couldn't you just post like 5,000 comments on your own profile and get 5 stars? @MulletHead

Thanks, and I'll be scrolling through the questions thread a lot haha @MulletHead

Or a moderator. I've booked a couple of your blerts. Nearly all of them have good info. I'll be looking out a little more now!
    16. whitebass_81 0
Yeah I normally would've used heavier line but 10 lb. was all I had, thankfully it didn't run much @bassinboy01

braid for frogs and have broken it several times.
    18. Jacob Breaux 0
@whitebass_81 @redfisher98 Man 10lb mono in the areas I fish frogs is just asking for heartbreak! Lol. I've caught 30lb carp and 30"+ reds on 12lb mono, ...more but that's in open water. I use 50 or 65lb
    19. Jacob Breaux 0
Yea a staff member needs to see the blert to edit it and give it a book. We try to look at as many blerts as possible, but obviously can't look at them all.

      Thanks man @bassinboy01
    21. Jacob Breaux 0
Added it. Great info and fish

      Thanks @liamshay
    23. whitebass_81 0
Yeah I know that but several pro's have seen this post and it's sort of annoying @redfisher98 oh and btw it wasn't in the grass, my bad.
    24. liamshay 0
      Nice fish
    25. Jacob DeRamus 0
I think it's because a pro has to notice the blert and give it one. I was wondering the same thing. And wow that must have been some fight in the grass with ...more a 29" red!
    26. whitebass_81 0
Other posts have what pound line they were using and and how deep the water was and that's it and they get a book, not sure how this and a few others I've ...more posted have not.
    27. whitebass_81 0
      I did it with a 29" and I think with either 12 or 15, crazy fight!! @redfisher98
    28. Jacob DeRamus 0
I've done pretty much the same thing but with a 21" redfish and 12 lb mono
    29. whitebass_81 0
Haha thanks. 90 pound braid is unnecessary @redfisher98
    30. Jacob DeRamus 0
You did that on 10 lb mono!? That's amazing!
    31. whitebass_81 0
