51*Air temp. light overcast, wind SE 5mph; this new bait arrives today & I'm recovering from Tuesdays heart procedure. Man! I can't WAIT to buzz this rat over some emerging Lilly pads & ol Bucket Jaw!

      I'm gonna give it fair chance! Good bass lake near me with Pad fields in upper ends away from rec boaters. Maybe 80-100 acres total vegetation plus a lot of ...more shoreline with grass that floods in Spring.

      often & touch it up if it won't prick a fingernail, esp if you're getting lots of strikes! LMB have tough mouths & can dull a hook quickly.

      response to improve hookups. Maybe even wait to feel the fish if necessary, esp. w braid and a good heavy rod I think u can afford it. It's a good quality single ...more hook, but keep it sharp. Check it
