Lake Mendota has seemed to weather the storm okay. The shorelines are the worth part, along with the heaves. The last couple days of colder weather should have helped ...more lock things back up again. Use caution with the warmer weather for this weekend. The water along the shorelines was freezing back up, but there may be a couple soft spots that come back to life with the warm weather and high winds. Wear your ice creepers as it is a large skating rink now. Good luck and be safe!
