1. Sorry I haven't been on for a while! I've been pretty busy with other stuff lately. Hopefully I will get to do a bunch of ice fishing this winter! Here is ...more a nice walleye from yesterday. Caught on a tip up with a sucker in a very unconventional way. I was marking most of my fish 20-30 feet down over 46 feet of water, so I went over to adjust the depth of the tip up. When I dropped my transducer down the hole I saw a big mark just below the sucker. I grabbed the line and started "jigging." When the fish started coming up I pulled the sucker up slowly to make him chase it, and he ate it! It was really cool to feel that kind of bite on a hand line. I fed him line for a minute just to make sure he had it, and then set the hook and pulled him in.
