Do you need 4x4 to launch a boat on a boat ramp?

  True @Reel_Smooth there just a lot more expensive. I really want a 4x4 truck but a nice one with under 75,000 miles on it is out of my budget

  Why would you not pick a 4x4 if your an outdoorsman period? Lol!! To many advantages to not pick a 4x4. If no 4x4 you better have a winch. Life saver even for 4x4's

  My neighbor lost truck on the boat ramp once, not fun, 4wheel drive is obviously better for that, but as long as your careful, you should be fine with 2 wheel drive

  Usually no, but never know when the ramp will be covered in algae and be super slick
