Normally use a leader length of fluoro anywhere between 12"-24", 18" the norm. Usually go with 10 to 12lb fluoro, sometimes 6lb fluoro when the water ...more is really clear.
I use the Moss Green the majority of the time because it blends in with the water better. Camo is good for stained to muddy water. If using 20-30lb braid, it's ...more the diameter of 6-8lb mono, so I..
Oh, and if you are going to use it for X-Raps and Rattle Traps, I would suggest using a fluorocarbon leader tied to the braid for that stretch and strength. 😉😉
Well, think of it this way: you've used PP, you've used SuperSlicks, try the Sufix 832 and form your opinion from there. We can all say this and that, it's ...more ultimately what you feel comfortable with 😉
Depends on the size of the spool you want. I get it for $17 for a 150 yard spool. Might be a little different where you are located. Have never had a problem with ...more 832, unless it is my own fault haha
PP Super Slick. Used power pro since it came out and have used all other brands of braid and they don't compare to SS. Second choice would be Spiderwire.
None of those. Go with Sufix 832. Probably the smoothest casting and most sensitive braid I've ever used. Takes a lot of abuse before it even remotely starts ...more to fray. Spiderwire is my 2nd choice 😉
I used PowerPro for many years now. Saw the slicks a few months ago and decided to try then out. Threw it in the trash after 2 trips. Break easily and does not hold ...more up. Get the original PowerPro
