1. Caught it while night fishing on some shrimp. Does anyone know what species this is

      Ya it's probably a young sea bass if caught on shrimp inshore

      There also all over the east we catch mogan sea bass all the time and a dude near caught a giant one inshore but usually big ones are offshore @amassie thx @pondguy1

      You can catch a good amount of Black Sea bass in Florida and it had no teeth tho @amassie I agree with you @inlet_fisher99

      Black Sea bass are west coast fish I believe. This was caught in Florida @inlet_fisher99 but I'm not sure

      @txfisherman713 it looks like a grey snapper(mangrove) but it's at a strange angle and upside down.

      Almost looks like a snapper but I feel like that's wrong because it doesn't look like any species of snapper I recognize. Maybe a mangrove
