That's the ultimate question Max. What colors should one throw and under what conditions. I think this color would work well in clearer water, but....who knows...?? ...more Time to experiment!

Under what conditions / time of year do you find that these hot colors work best?

Great tip Eddie! I for one, love Stick baits. That's the sole reason for starting Hot Seat. In fact, I tend to get 'stuck' throwing stick baits far ...more longer than I should. They do catch a lot of fish though! Thanks for the comment Matthew!

Little tip for any lake. When the water temperature is between 50 and 55 degrees take a spinning rod and tie a swivel with a 18 inch florocrabon leader and good ...more heavy hook. Hook it up weedless and throw this color around any lay downs or stumps. One of my best five came this way and have had lots of 20 plus bags.

I think these would do well in the Pacific Northwest with Salmon and Steelhead too. Love how it looks orange, or pink, or....??
