Usually a week or two after spring break is when I start looking for them on their beds... It's hard to tell an exact time though because of how weird the weather ...more is around here

It all depends when the water warms up to 55 degrees so it depends on how long the winter is up here in va it usually Is in mid march.

Also if you find one used you'll be able to resell it for practically what you bought it for (if that day ever comes)

My buddy paired his speed spool with a compre one piece and likes it, I'd pay the extra and get at least a crucial tho. Put the money in now and it'll save ...more you in the long run.

6'6 - 7' Abu Garcia Veritas rod. Most place have them on sale. The Dicks Sporting Goods I work at have them for $50.
    4. Tim Knecht 0
A good all around rod would be anything around the 6'6 size in medium action. Check out Wright & McGill Insight rods or Powells intro series
