      Swimbaits for big bass!

You can drop shot in deep holes but your best bet is to find a lesser known lake or pond and chances are you will get on the big ones eventually.

I've fished in VA my hole life and the thing is there are no well known big fish lakes like falcon in TX or the resivoirs in CA, but new is always a good bet ...more and for big large mouth on the Shendoha...

wacky rigged worms are pretty good for ponds too

Ok thanks, I do have tubes but no hooks for them, but I'll try it out @stagefight

If you are fishing rivers like the Clinch, New or upper Rappahannick I recommend 4 in grubs (swim it) and tubes (lift and fall) - natural colors in clear water and ...more darker in stained water

Give us some details man. Are you fishing Rivers, ponds, streams, etc. Deep or shallow? Boat or off bank? Can never go wrong with a shaky head or senko but give ...more some info and I can help!

Other good baits are rapalas, spinnerbaits, topwater jitterbugs, Texas rigged zoom worms, or trick worms

If I can't get anything on bass baits just try large spinners or even live bait, I've caught of my biggest bass on small bluegills lipped through the lips ...more or behind the spine.

About

I mainly fish rivers in Fredericksburg Virginia, where I live. But I also fish in Florida. I will fish onshore or offshore, I don't care which ...more one as long as my line is in the water
