      That is awesome my pond is likewise FULL of bluegill and you can see them during the day time. I will have to try this out! Who knew even fish like bacon I can't ...more say I blame them. @iambatman26 thanks!

      I saw them swimming around! U just kinda let it sink enough were u can slightly see your bait getting hit by the fish! These fish where close enough to see too.

      I just use a really small hook and put a really small piece of bacon on it! No weight or bobber just the hook! I could see all the bluegills and green sunfish at ...more my pond and just pitched it where

      You won't wear out so many reels!

      I have found, if you are using heavier (3/8oz or more) lures you would want to use a casting setup. You wear out so many reels!
