1. Parents showed me some old lures that were owned by my great grandpa today. Awesome how some things have changed and some are exactly how they were.

  2. Academy had power bait on sale for $2 and berkley has a $4 rebate for every 2 bags. Ordered 20 bags online...I'm now stocked lol

The one I saw that was owned by the HOA said it was for residents only. I also have a pond in my neighborhood that supposedly has bass. In Southwind community near ...more 360. I think it is too "mossy" IMO.
    5. chucktheduck 0
Thanks for the info @Watch. The pond I saw over there was completely enclosed by someone's metal fence. Huge monster of a house with a large pond. We must be ...more talking bout 2 diff places.
    6. chucktheduck 0
Green oaks and New York also had a nice looking pond w/access. Lived right there for 6 years and had no idea it existed. Looks promising @Watch

None of the pond are in someone's backyard @chucktheduck
    8. Watch 0
No it's public. Owned by the city and maintained by HOA. The land was donated and the parks are open for public use. You can look at the Mansfield park ...more site for info. @chucktheduck

Google "Holley creek Ln" in Mansfield. Also a nice public pond off Debbie Ln just east of 287
    15. chucktheduck 0
@Watch ....but it is posted "no swimming/fishing". Makes zero sense why they wouldn't want you fishing such a large accessible pond. Good luck to you!
    16. chucktheduck 0
Man there are some really nice looking private ones that have access but posted "no trespassing". I am not opposed to trespassing to fish a freakin pond. ...more The nicest looking one is at TCCC...

This pond is at Rose Park, haven't had too much luck there. I hear they stock it with trout every year. I fish both public and private ponds I have permission ...more for. @chucktheduck
    18. chucktheduck 0
Hey @Watch me and Google maps searched out every pond in the area this morning. With the exception of 2 or 3 most were "private". Are you fishing public ...more ponds or private ones?

You live in Mansfield? I live near 360 and broad right across from the lake.
    4. chucktheduck 0
I see you added "Mansfield Ponds" for some of your catches. One day I will have to bribe you into disclosing these locations!!

  6. These guys are fun to catch when they're feeding. I was casting trying to cover as much water as I could with my lure.

White Bass with a rooster tail

  7. This little guy hit pretty far away from pretty far away. I like the sensitivity of braid whenever I get bites.
