    Beautiful 22" Redfish my son caught today while we were wade fishing in west Galveston bay. Caught on the bottom with live shrimp. We caught about 10 rat reds, ...more a speck and many large croaker. Great day of fishing!

    My wife and I started the day at Lake Somerville, but got skunked. So we decided to take a drive down to Freeport to try the surf. Water is sure cold, but at least ...more the whiting were biting! Time to clean some fish and heat up the flying pan! Tight lines everyone!

      @geoffreypolefko we were fishing at Big Creek Marina at their dock. I have caught a lot of catfish & crappie there. But only had one single bite in 3 hours ...more today. Yes, it sure is slow.

    Fished a few hours this afternoon with my son at the Surfside jetty. Tried lures, dead shrimp, live shrimp. I only managed to catch this nice little Sheepshead, ...more with live shrimp during the incoming tide. Nice day to be out, but really looking forward to the water warming up and the fish getting active again.

      @Set_That_Hook I know. That's why in my blert I listed my fish as a Sheepshead. I was talking about the drum that @slatwater caught the same day.

      I was at freeport today tried lures cut bait live shrimp at the quintana jetties and nothing hit up oyster creek before the tide moved in and caught a 45' black ...more drum and the only thing we caught

    Details: Gulf Flounder with a Flounder Pounder!

    I got tired of seeing everyone else having all the fun, so I decided to join in! Got my two flounder limit in about an hour. Fun afternoon!

      They are nice lures. I like that the hooks are in the tail. You don't have to wait when you feel the bite, just set the hook. Downside is they get hung up more ...more than Gulps.

    My daugter with one of 27 very nice channel cats we caught at Lake Somerville this past weekend. All were caught under corks in 3-4 feet of water using CJ's ...more punch bait.

    Details: Smallmouth Buffalo with a CJ's Punch Bait

    Caught 5 of these today while fishing for catfish. They sure put up a great fight! Unfortunately only caught 3 cats. Used a medium action 6' Ugly Stick with ...more an Abu Garcia Silver Max reel loaded with 12lbs test line. Great morning at the lake with my wife.
