    Details: Bluegill Sunfish with a Yellow popper fly

    Was fly fishing then caught this monster it was bigger than my hand. Hooked him through the neck and the sob bent my hook lucky I had my Leatherman wave.

    This to all the fly fisher men and women out there what color of flys do y'all use when fishing for bass and pan fish in and around McKinney Tx?

      I've caught bluegill on a black (more black) and on a white, catfish on black, and bass on green.

      White is a really good color I've noticed chartreuse and white is good for flys like clouser minnows for bass and bigger perch

      I don't fly fish but my friend I fish with a ton does and he catches bass on flies at pretty much any pond in mckinney
