Details: Alderman North Cove

Two ways to access, either park on Harvey lake rd and track through the woods or park at the boat launch and walk the lake. Sometimes parking at the boat launch ...more is not an option as there is a natural spring in the middle of this lake that makes ice very thin and cuts the north cove off from the south cove. Be very careful and check the ice a lot if you come from the launch and try to walk to the north cove. Stick to the west side when walking it as the spring is on the east side of the lake and that is where it usually is the thinnest. The north cove has whole different fishing compared to the south. South side the fish are small and scarce the north side you will actually be able to catch keepers and they are more plentiful.
