My biggest Red Fish (Red Drum to some) was the 38 inch in my profile picture, caught it earlier this year where i live. Mud Lake is the body of water, it flows ...more in from Clear Lake which flows in from Galveston Bay which flows in from Gulf of Mexico. We get a lot of reds and speckle trout and flounder in mud lake, some call it bracish water (sorry with the spelling), but never seen any bass or freshwater fish in mud lake.
