    Once again we caught two bullheads on bread. Guess these guys just eat anything!

      When I was your age, we had a small pond in the back cow pasture. Biggest bullhead was around 6 inches. When it started raining they would bite an empty hook. Probably ...more had some scent from the worms still on it, but it was empty to the eye.

    We were actually fishing for bluegill with bread when my brothers bobber went crazy. We thought he had a huge bluegill but we were super surprised when he pulled ...more it out and it was a bullhead. A theory we have is that the bullhead ate the bluegill and got himself hooked that way. Let me know what you theory’s are.

      Get the “Zoom Ol’ Monster” Worm in the most ridiculous neon/bright color you can find. Put it on “Chompers” 1/4 oz Shakey Head, Black, and toss it out with a two ...more bump then drop cadence. Or Texas rig it on a 3.0 hook for slow drop. For a lure use the Rapala X-Rap in Clown or Hot Head color. Fish it like a typical jerk bait. I typically use Red Shad or Tequila Sunrise colors for the Ol’ Monster in most situations other than real muddy water. Hope that helps.
