Wife has been bugging me to go out to Rock Creek to fish so last night we did. We took 4 poles with us, two heavy poles and two light ones. Since it was so shallow, ...more I decided to try and fish under the bridge by the pillars and she caught 2 perch right away on a jig. The creek bed has a lot of snags so the one white wiggler that we had with us got torn up pretty fast. We had to use bobbers to keep the jigs off of the bottom, which helped to let the jigs float into the school. I had several hits on a little yellow crawdad on a 1/16th yellow jig but no hooksets. All in all was still better than going to work but we left a lot of jigs on the bottom of the creek.
