      Chris Dixie it WAS tough. I threw 25 different variations of jig heads and bodies before I found one that worked. In the late afternoon, artificials quit all together ...more and I used a jig head and a live minnow about with a bobber set at 4 ft. Some were spawning; many were not. I lost probably 20 or better more because the bite was so light.
