Looks familiar. I had a hit on a WP last week. When I reeled in, no fish. It was so small it was hidden behind the lure. Spots are insane.

They have been on all winter long. Last few times I went the bite is best early morning before sun comes up. Then in the evening as the sun goes down.

In December 2017 on one of the coldest mornings we had In central Illinois the Crappie we going crazy. 15 fish limit in 2 hours. Caught several small fish along ...more with my limit. Well worth fighting the frigid temps.

The lake has risen about 3 foot, water is a bit murky, water temp is at med 40's and dropping slowly, will probably start rising by the weekend.
