Details: Brown Trout with a Tip-up
Thursday, Jan 18th. Set a couple of tip-ups out in shallow water while fishing perch at 41 feet of water. Caught three small browns that were about 12 inches each. ...more Tip-ups postioned in about 20 feet of water with minnow 6 feet below ice. Perch all over the place in deeper water but they are small +/- 7 inches.
Details: 504 in. Yellow Perch with a Russian Hook tipped with wax worms.
Caught yellow perch all through the day. Had a Marcum camera set up. Fish under me from 10am to 4 pm. They were small but it was fun. One lost minnow (tip down rig - line frozen in Hole) Hole iced over.
