    Nice fat eater blue, 5 or 6 pounds. Hit nightcrawler hard around 9PM. Had to fight for a minute or two to get him up off the bottom, ABU Vendetta 6'6" ...more Medium Heavy rod and 30 pound braid.

    Easter eater catfish, maybe 3 pounds. Fished nightcrawler 18" below float, shallow weedy cove, 3 or 4 FOW. Surprise catch since a half dozen spawning shortnose ...more gar were very active all afternoon.

    Cold and rainy, 1oz egg sinker and #1 hook. Water quite high, lapping at the berm of causeway after a few inches of rain over the last coupke days.
