    finally had a chance to break in my ascend fs128t yak today in beautiful conditions this evening. mid 60's, no wind, calm water. fishing in around 10 fow, however ...more bobber was set only a couple feet deep.. lots of vegetation in water. caught this cat and one other of similar size.

      Almost looks like a smallmouth... No idea honestly. Don't think it's a largemouth though

      when I first saw it I thought it was a largemouth but than when I pulled it I'm thinking its a spotted.. but still unsure.

      Yea it's a drum and catfish are as much a predator as they are a scavenger so if put something in their strike zone they will hit it
