1. Details: Largemouth Bass

Finally got back out on the water today after a couple months!!!! It was a beautiful day, 11mph winds and no clouds in the sky. We hit the water right at sunrise, ...more rigged up a couple spinner baits, and started tossing into the reeds along the bank. Then went to the rock drop off by the discharge portion of the plant. All together we caught around 25 but only 6 keepers due to the rules of the lake.

Talking about embracing the suck today! Winds were in the teens gusting while the temperature was a cold 49 degrees. Rigged up a torpedo weight, 2 ft leader, with ...more a treble hook. Sat it on the bottom and they all bit inbetween 12-230 p.m. A couple of these will make great bait.

  9. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Watermelon orange worm

70° out this morning. Cloudy with no wind. The calm before the storm, literally. Saw my oppurtunity to go out before the crappy weekend weather got here and ...more it paid off. I was standing on a little piece of land that jetted out into the water and just casting the banks on either side. Two twitches every couple of seconds and POW!!!! They hit hard and quick.

  10. Headed out to Lake Houston this morning for a couple hours before the rain. This was the only catch of the morning. 3 lbs.
