Went out for crabs again, the marsh out by Sabine Pass and out to Clam Lake. Brought in 21 nice crabs, a nice haul for the freezer!

Caught about 35 in 2 hours, wound up bringing 16 big blue crabs home. All were well over 6" across. Biggest of the year so far. Caught out in the marsh at ...more Texas Point near the towers. Lots of 5" we let go!

Sorry no picture...Some big crabs in the marsh, but they seem to be kind of skittish little difficult to get in the net. Caught about four big ones over 6 inches ...more and two or three smaller ones around 5 inches. Water was warm about average for this time a year. And stained a dark tea or coffee color. No Reds or specs to speak of.
