1. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Texas rigged ZOOM U-Tale, Pumpkin Charteuse

The south pond, near the western waterfall. 5/31 630pm sunny and warm My bait got hit hard, but then I felt nothing but weight as I realized I was picking up and ...more dragging A TON of water grass. I slooowly reeled it in, assumimg my fish got away. I was surprised to find him trapped under all that grass!

@datkins Heard that. This is only the second fish I've ever caught in that pond. Maybe if they made it a little easier to get to the water...

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Texas rigged white Zoom worm. 1/4 oz sinker. 2/0 hook.

3/25/14 5:30pm Warm and sunny. Sight fishing at Mueller, if you can believe that. Water much clearer than usual. Small schools of bass (4+) just hanging out near ...more the weeds. I saw them take interest in my worm, but no biters. Slowed it down, then let it sit still for awhile. Fish on!

  3. Details: White Crappie with a chartreuse grub and jig

    My first crappie!

  4. Details: White Bass with a White grub on a 1/8oz white jig

One of the many sandies my brother in law and I caught today. They really seemed to warm up around 1pm. They went for a fast retrieval, but kept near the bottom.

That is actually a redbreast. Ironically redbreast have longer "ears" than longears. I'll tag you in a pic of a longest

9/27/14 4pm Overcast Just under the Long Horn Dam. Saw these dudes busting bass left and right. This is the only one I caught, which was aggravating. They were using ...more small spoons, and caught tons of them. I think my hooks were all a bit too big...

  10. Details: Black Bullhead Catfish with a hot dog/kool aid/fish sauce

8/23/14 @ 11AM--#4 octopus, 1/8oz bullet sinker. The highlight of an otherwise aggravating day. Caught one small yellow cat and TEN OR MORE turtles! One was a soft ...more shell that was seriously big, but I'm not fishing for turtles, yall. Then I got home and straight butchered this cat cos I don't know what I'm doing, apparently. I won't return here.
