    Crankbait didn't work at all so I switched to soft plastic swimbait. The reason why I choose this bait is that I knew basses in this place are feeding small ...more fishes very aggressively. Caught 6 in 1hr after switching. Cloudy low light condition with temp around 80F. Was perfect weather for bass fishing .

    Today was very hot day. So water current was key to catch fish. Caught 2 from water current in front of drainage pipe. The water coming out from the pipe was very ...more muddy and it made boundary between clear water and muddy water in the pond. I have retrieved the bait slowly along with the boundary and got bites.

      I was fishing there yesterday and a dad and son were knockin em dead drop shotting pumpkin colored craw fish. I really need to try that again. They weren't catching ...more big ones but good numbers.

    Thanks to recent rain, water level is high again and fishes comes to near the shore. I tried Topwater baits most of the time, got many bites but couldn't hook ...more up any. Changed soft plastic swim bait. Retrieved steady slowly and caught 2 like this small guy.

    Most of the part of the creek was covered with algae mat so I tried frog first. Casted edge of the mat and got bite as soon as I started retrieving.

    Waterlevel was pretty low so little bit difficult situation for froggin. I tried white and chartreuse color but couldn't get any luck hence changed into black ...more and got this guy. Guess fast retrieve was key today.

      It's southwest side of the park. Flood control creek from Katy. You can access to there from soccer field by Westheimer parkway. @bassgetter
