    About a 4 or 4.5lb snook on an ultra light rod with a Calcutta 50 reel with 6lb test

    Does anybody know what kind of fish would go after a fish and attack it and bite it in half while I was reeling in my catch it.was huge and shiny I was thinking ...more a tarpon but I don't know if they would do that.

      It had to be at least 30lb and 3.5 to 4 feet long it was huge and almost spooled my reel

      It would help to know where it happened. Cuda, king Mac, wahoo, tuna, and shark and all bite fish in half.

      That's a young black drum, they can be really hard to differ between sheepshead
