  3. Details: River Chub with a size 14 deer hair caddis dry fly

this is not a creek chub I just couldn't not find a golden shiner/Roach/Rudd in the list of fish. ive been told three different names for these guys. they ...more are fun with super light tackle and dry flies though.

    1. Randy 0
@CastsForBass haha there is plenty of them in that body of water and ive never seen a bass in it.
    2. Randy 0
@SmellsFishy yeah for a while I got a bit concerned because of the similarities to the english Rudd but im pretty convinced now there just big golden shiner.
    3. Michael Meeker 0
      Definitely a shiner!

  4. Details: Northern Pike

articulated pike fly with a baitfish head for some sinking weight. tied with a 4 and the trailer is a 6

    1. Randy 0
@wyldechylde77 also when you stick the eyes on make sure you put a drop of glue behind them they tend to pop off or slide around
    2. Randy 0
@wyldechylde77 unloved em and they hide some goofs if you accidentally over wrap near the head not to mention they add good sinking weight. The only down side is ...more cost.
    3. Chuck LaBruna 0
I really gotta get me some of those minnow head weight. I always see them, always tell myself to grab some, and end up seeing all this new material LOL
