  2. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a trusty old Doa. white with red tail. slow bounced over shallow oyster bed

    decided to brave the weather and got a couple hours in before dark. very scattered bite. mud island was suprisingly well occupied, given the storm. fished a little ...more futher to the south to get a way from all the turkeys. nothin special worth noting.

    scattered bite, drift fishing 2pm - 7pm. stiff north wind. water temp 73, wind 16, clear to muddy water.

  5. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a live shrimp freelined

    my dad and I, 5 reds 2 blacks. I used my redfish tag for the big boy :) We caught them all standing in the same spot. casting up aginst the shore. groups of reds ...more came through every 30 min or so, kinda like a conveyor belt exiting the flats. North wind 15mph, light showers and dark clouds made it hard to see any structure so I just let the shrimp drift down with the current.

    Morning bite in Key Allegro! cought the red an hour ago fishing off the finger piers. I was expecting trout but instead got this tail squeezer 20incher. Got the ...more black in the canal behind my house. (the bobber was set super deep 4feet). It was a tasty breakfast!

  8. Details: Inshore Slam (trout/flounder/redfish) with a -Doa shrimp white with red tail (flounder). -live shrimp on #5 circle hook freelined (reds, blacks and trout)

    6 reds 2 trout 2 flounder and 3 blacks, inshore Grand slam? I guess? wadefishing along St. Joe island casting the shallower holes toward the bay. the flounder were ...more both super shallow on the slough corners ambushing as the flats drained. Got out there late, fished from 6 to dark. The rat reds were thick! it took a little over an hour for my buddy and I to go through 2 courts or shrimp.

    5 monster trout and a couple marginal ones. Southeast wind 15mph, water temp 72°, rising tide, casting out towards the deeper water near the color change muddy ...more to clear. 1pm to 4pm
