    Managed to catch this nice trout before the rain started. I was drifting my fly right by a pod of fish and this one bit. Only caught one today.

    Awesome day I caught two spotted bass, one white bass and the nice largemouth fishing from my kayak at broken now lake. Conditions were hot and sunny. I was throwing ...more my bait around schools of shad with fish busting the surface all around me.

      Is the fishing pretty good out of Broken Bow lake? I've fished out of the river below it for trout, but that's about it. And that's an interesting idea ...more for a lure!!

    Was really windy and cloudy today. The sun broke through and I managed to get this chunk to bite. Pretty slow day no other bites.

    Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Cut mullet and finger mullet

    Fishing carancahua creek and caught these two nice slot reds last night. The one on the left is 25" and the one on the right is 24". Not much salt in ...more the water this trip. The water was freshwater. Also caught some catfish.

    Beautiful undersized Redfish caught in the Garcitas Creek. Very blue tail!

    Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a 1/8 oz. TTF Lil' Speck Killer speck rig and Electric Chicken H&H Queen Cocahoe Minnow on a 1/4 oz. red jig head.

    I got 8 speckled trout and one sand trout in the Garcitas Creek night fishing under the lights.
