    Caught a week ago on fresh whiting bout 200 yards out. Measured out at 44in. Not too much bait fish activity in the water.

    Lots of sheephead around the jetty. Used fresh dead shrimp along the rocks(channel side) with small 1/0 circle hook. Also caught a keeper black drum and small whiting. ...more I did not see any bait but saw pelicans working really close in the surf eating what I assume were mullet. Only other species I saw caught was a small bonnethead.

    Slow day on Sunday. Caught on mepps aglia #4. Let it sink and started reeling slowly when it hit. Only saw 2 trout caught all day in this area.
