No problem they sound a lot like the carp i catch around here they play it slow until they see you and then pull out 100yds of line!

Its very possible to catch threshers up to 200lbs on 100lb wire. And 90lb mono is light but it will work. Do what you want just trying to suggest something for big ...more fish that always works. @chunkerhunker

We use around 25-30 foot of leader for big sharks. Your leader should always be 2 times the size of the fish your trying to catch

caught 3 140-180 pound thresher sharks on the same wire. it's as thick as 85 pound mono. @Hooksetter97

That will unravel itself very quickly. Look up haywire twist and use that.

biggest one of the day my friend caught ! about a pound 15" on a senko ! I had a 4-5 pounder on but he went for the rocks and cut my line. we were using ultra ...more lights. going back for him tommorow
