      Thanks Bryan. These were caught up at Castaic which is the closest (legitimate) lake to me being in the middle of Los Angeles. DVL is amazing and my favorite lake ...more but Perris is nice too. Casitas has been terrible allegedly due to the high PH levels from all of the fire retardant that drained into the lake from last year. I haven't fished Pyramid yet but hope to get up there for stripers and SMB at some point in 2020.

    Biggest of the day in between downpours. Pretty miserable conditions when the 20% chance of showers quickly turned to 100% T-Storms with wind and 1” of rain. Blanked ...more on the top water and chatter bait in the morning but nailed them on the finesse midday. Fished a drop shot in about 3-4’ of water with a 7” Z-Man floating wormz Menthiolate color and a zoom lizard in a pumpkin+chartreuse color. St Croix Legend Xtreme spinning rod 6’10”ML and Shimano Stradic Ci4, 6lb P-Line Fluoro.

    Details: Largemouth Bass

    Did well on Casitas today and landed a number of nice bass including these two beauties. Most Of the good ones were holding 25-30 feet deep. Water temp was 81, clear ...more skies, air temp was 85 and a very light breeze throughout the day.
