The last shark I caught was in Boliver, I made a poor cast, and never got my feet wet. You don't have to go that far out😜

Check out @mrinfo blert on gar fishing, I have a blert of my gator gar rig that has good info. I have shot thousands of gar on that stretch of river. Nice cat too.

Heavy line, steel leaders, big treble hooks, a lot of energy, and mayb some toilet paper once that sucker takes off

Well if you want a good fight go back with some heavy tackle and big cut bait. Hook into one if those 6 foot gar. But ya if your gunna fish trinity the best bait ...more is cut or live bait

@catfishinKING yea we probably won't go back to it... All we had was the gulp bait with us and the crabs just kept tearing that up.. We could of had like. 20 ...more crabs but they would jump off lol

Trinity isn't much of a good rod and reel fishing place unless your going after gar. But there are some nice cats if you put out some limb lines.
